Indonesia

During my time in Indonesia, I rode a CRF150 dirt bike 1,500 miles across the country with nothing but a backpack and my camera. I began my journey in major city Jakarta and ended in Denpasar, Bali. Along the way, I experienced a true taste of the Indonesian lifestyle. I met incredible people like Budhi and Ilham who invited me to the boarding school they teach at. I paid a visit and spoke English to the students there (seen in the first photo above.) Though I only spoke a little bit of Indonesian, I could not avoid the full experience of the Indonesian peoples' collective character throughout my trip... one that is forever imprinted in my soul as an expression of pure generosity, kindness, and care for others.
